Reston Association
Harbor Point Condominium is a community within Reston Association. When you purchase a home at Harbor Point, your deed automatically enrolls you as a member of Reston Association (RA). A required annual assessment paid to RA supports an impressive array of amenities including recreational programs, community facilities, and environmental resources including lakes, streams, and a nature center. The RA annual fee is separate from the monthly assessment paid to the Harbor Point Unit Owners Association, which covers maintenance of the Harbor Point property including maintenance of the exterior of the buildings, parking lot, boat docks, and landscape as well as insurance of the common property and water, sewer, and trash and snow removal services for each home. For more information, see the Reston Association’s Member Welcome Guide.
Pools
Reston Association has 15 pools available to residents. Three of those are very close to Harbor Point: Lake Thoreau Pool, Lake Audubon Pool, and Ridge Heights Pool. See Reston Association Aquatics for information on programs and passes.
Tennis & Golf
Reston has 52 outdoor tennis courts, 26 of them lighted for night play. Contact Reston Association Parks and Recreation for more information on tennis, golf, and other programs.
Walking Trails
Reston was designed to be a walkable community and has 55 miles of paved and natural surface pathways (with 95 bridges) winding through open spaces that provide a great place to exercise and connect neighborhoods, recreation areas and shopping centers. Two marked trails adjoining Harbor Point are the Red Trail (2.1 miles) and Turquoise trail (4.7 miles). For maps and trail guides see Reston Trails.
